As lead outreach worker at Enlace, Guillermo Nino mediates violence, prevents retaliation, and connects people to life changing resources. His passion for outreach and commitment to giving back are rooted in his lived experiences growing up in Little Village and witnessing poverty, violence, and disinvestment firsthand. One of his proudest accomplishments has been running a mobile GED program throughout Little Village. He also services the only black community in Little Village, specifically Lawndale Garden and the surrounding blocks.
