SM Shaikat is a youth development and policy specialist leading SERAC-Bangladesh to advance youth rights, governance, and gender equality. As a former UN-Habitat Youth Advisor, he pioneered Urban Youth Councils and represented Bangladesh at global forums like the UNGA and WUF. A 2024 Young Global Changer Civic Champion and UN Women 30 Under 2030 leader, Shaikat champions inclusive policymaking and works to empower youth for sustainable social change.
